About me
My name is Anya. Since 2021, I’ve been living in Haifa with my son Mark (the author of the photo next to me) and our little home zoo.
I’ve been working as a professional photographer since 2013 and have created several non-commercial photo projects — About Dads, Am Israel Hai, The Real Show: Circo Circo, and Ne me quitte pas (in progress).
I also work as a sound engineer at Alef Theatre, knit huge blankets and walking blankets, and build simple websites like this one :)
I try to do everything I do with love — because otherwise, what’s the point, right?

One day in May 2025, I just wanted to take my son to the circus.
But it turned out that I fell in love — with the troupe, the show,
and for the first time in a long while, I began to breathe again.

The project was born out of worry for my father, who has been under occupation in the Kherson region since March 2022 — and still is. It turned into an ode of love to Israeli fathers.
The exhibition took place from May 18 to July 8, 2024, at Babel Bookstore, Haifa.

A one-day photo project, shot on October 20, 2023 — two weeks after October 7, when all of Israel was gripped by horror. Throughout that day, I photographed everyone who chose to take part.
These photos are about the simple, powerful truth: no matter what happens — we are still alive.

Reviews

I spent a long time looking through the works of different photographers online.

Yes, they were beautiful portraits — but just portraits.

When I saw Anya’s photos, something clicked inside me:

that’s it — a real story behind the frame.

After only five messages and Anya’s thoughtful questions, I already knew it would turn out beautifully.

Sonya, the daughter:

Anya is a photographer who sees with her heart.

Every session turns into a warm, cozy meeting

that you don’t want to end.

And the photos — they make the soul smile.

The most alive photos.

The most comfortable shoots.

The most insightful gaze — one that sees what you haven’t even noticed in yourself.

I recommend her with all my heart.

A wonderful person with a delicate, sensitive soul.

Anya knows how to find beauty in small things,

to create magic in the frame,

and that special chemistry between the model and the photographer.
